|Susan Bacon is the CEO and founder of Palmetto Grant Consulting. Since she founded the company in September of 2009, she has obtained over $13 million in funding for her clients in Georgia and South Carolina. She was also the contest winner of the Amazing Entrepreneur in 2013. Susan is a certified grants specialist through Research Associates and has more than 20 years grant writing experience as an independent grant consultant. She has more than 25 years as a professional public school educator. Susan is very active in the community and a board member of non-profit and community organizations. She has also served on the review board for South Carolina Department of Transportation ISTEA federal grants. Susan has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina. She currently resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her husband and two cats. She is an avid bicyclist, and loves to travel, read, and garden.|
|Bob Edwards is the Operations Manager for Palmetto Grant Consulting. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the production and timely deliverance of Palmetto Grant Consulting’s goods and services. Bob spent over 25 years in various engineering leadership positions at high tech companies such as Motorola, Scientific-Atlanta, Cisco, and Cognizant. He has extensive experience in leading teams, managing projects, and maintaining strong customer relations. Bob has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In his spare time, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife of 36 years, spoiling his three grandchildren, and cycling.|
